Alina and Amadeo met in 2000 at "Escuela
de Musica Popular de Avellaneda", where they were" studying
jazz, tango and folklore.
They started to work together in 2001, doing wedding, events
and all kind of commercial gigs, as well as joining jam sessions,
always mixing up professionalism with creativity and enjoyment
of music.
Later on, each one took his own way to develop their
professional and artistic careers.
But Fados (fate) gave them the chance to get together and
show all the experience gathered through the years: in 2008
they were called to play at the ìJohn Barry Barî,
Grand Hyatt Muscat (Oman), where they are still performing
with excellent feedback from both the audience and the managers
(Reference Letter available).
By forming Blue Velvet, they found the perfect blend of live
show and artistic music; acoustic sound and backtrack accompaniment;
well arranged songs with a touch of improvisation; high-energy
and still cool and relaxing.
Top 40s, Pop, Jazz, Latin, Bossa Nova, are some of the styles
they play at the shows, making it dynamic and changing.
Do you want to request a song? They can play it. The repertoire
they handle is diverse and always increasing, and doing the
best in every song they do.
Does your venue suits for a totally
acoustic band? Blue Velvet can be also a trio including soft
percussion; and even a quartet, allowing our amazing saxophone,
flute and clarinet player to embellish our music even more.
All these professional skills and experience, mixed with a
warm and friendly way to relate with guests and management,
ensures that Blue Velvet suits your place.
