Cezar O & Kate Black

Formed in 2007, “Shine” have captured a very broad audience by displaying their talent and extra special professional touch in what they love doing most – performing.
“Shine” has performed in many parts of the World including Australia, U.K., Caribbean Islands, South Korea and the Middle East. They have had the opportunity to play to many different cultures and age groups, which has left them with a very strong and versatile repertoire.
Cezar and Kate both have a very solid musical background with many years of experience as performers mixing musical excellence.
“Shine’s” repertoire embraces a variety of material from smooth jazz, contemporary ballads, pop, Latin American and Dance.

Cezar Ostaszewski – Piano/Keyboards/Vocals
Cezar’s career began in 1989 traveling throughout the World with his debut in New York. He then went on to join Renaissance Cruise Lines as a pianist and then as a bandleader, where he spent almost two years in the Caribbean, Baltic and the Mediterranean seas. Upon arrival at home in Australia, Cezar formed a group named I.C.E. and in 1983 entered channel 10’s New Faces competition and won with his original song “Only You”. Cezar’s songwriting success continued when several other of his songs reached the Australian Songwriters Association national song finals.
With his strong desire to develop his unique piano style, Cezar completed his Bachelor of Music majoring in Composition at Melbourne University in 1997 and went on to write and produce albums for other artists as well as for himself. Cezar has been performing in some of the finest 5 star venues around the world.
Cezar’s success lies in his feel for music and experience as an entertainer. His album – “What’s Goin’ On” highlights his amazing genius as a pianist, and displays his incredible diversification in style.

Kate Black – Vocals
Kate has been singing from a very early age. She has taken private tuition from vocal teacher Leokadia Jezioranska and her father Wojciech Blaka philharmonic musician In Cracow.
She has been performing professionally In Poland Since 1996 working on
weddings and covers bands. She has cooperated with many excellent musicians in Poland such as Wojciech Jastrzebski, a pianist In Tadeusz Kantor Theatre and guitarist Andrzej Bisztyga, to name a few.
Besides her jazz and soul fascination, she was a singer in a rock band for a few years. While singing with them, they won many prizes.
In 2005-2006, she was a solist In a folk band „Ziemia Myslenicka”, which
achieved many successes in Poland as well as abroad.
