AL JAMES - pianobar entertainer

Al James started playing piano age 8. He later played on keyboards for first band, toured with Tennents Live across Scotland. At the age of 20, Al joined a 5 piece function band and did many weddings, Coporate Functions etc.. for 4 years. He then performed at Edinburgh Festival in 1999. Runner-up in festival song-writing competition.

Al became a professional piano vocalist in year 2000. His song repertoire is quite extensive and he can play all sorts of music, pop standards, ballads, everything from Frank Sinatra to Eton John, Robbie Williams, David Gray etc..

He also played in front of HRH Princess Anne at a Coporate opening in February 2003. More recently, one of his songs "Angel", will be included in a forthcoming Hollywood Movie "A Dog and His Boy" a Universal Pictures.
